Firmly established in the Swindon Town defence, Sol again did well in the 2000-01 campaign although he accumulated a number of yellow cards.
A solid tough-tackling left back, he never shirks a challenge and always gives 100 per cent commitment to the team.
He was rarely seen as an attacking force but combined well with Andy Williams to provide the cross from which Giuliano Grazioli netted the winner at home to Oxford United in October.
Sol moved to Luton Town in August 2002 on a three-year contract with the fee decided by tribunal.
His Hatters contract was extended to June 2006 in February 2005 then to June 2009 in August 2006.
