Siyabonga Nomvethe is an exciting striker who is very fast and upsets opposition defenders when he runs at them.
He made his name with Kaizer Chiefs where he was South African Footballer of the Year in 2000, before moving to Serie A club Udinese in the 2001 close season.
He won his first cap for South Africa in May 1999 against Trinidad & Tobago.
He took time to break into the Udinese side only breaking into the first team in January 2002.
He made the African Nations' Cup Finals and played in a disappointing competition for South Africa.
Nomvethe wrote his name into South African sporting history with his goal after only four minutes of his World Cup debut.
It clinched a 1-0 victory over Slovenia in Daegu - South Africa's first-ever win in the World Cup finals.
