Having broken into the Peterborough United team towards the end of the 1999-2000 campaign, Simon Rea went on to firmly establish himself as a regular in the line-up in 2000-01.
A left-sided central defender who is very effective in the air and a fine reader of the game, he also found time to score a couple of goals for Posh.
