Shola Shoretire played for Newcastle United during his youth career.

He was selected on Manchester United's subs bench for the first time on 18 February 2021 in a UEFA Europa League tie against Real Sociedad in Turin, Italy.

In the return leg against Real Sociedad at Old Trafford, aged 17 years and 23 days, Shola became the youngest-ever player to appear for United in a game in a European competition. The club record was previously held by Norman Whiteside; versus Valencia in the UEFA Cup on 15 September 1982, aged 17 years and 131 days.
