Bradley joined Mansfield Town for a club record fee as a replacement for Tony Lormor and made his debut as substitute in the 'home' Worthington Cup tie against Wrexham at Meadow Lane. He seemed to be settling in well when he picked up an ankle injury after just a handful of appearances. He then suffered a succession of injuries and afterwards seemed to struggle for fitness although he did score some useful goals. He is a traditional bustling centre forward who leads his line well and possesses a powerful shot.
Bradley went on the Stags' transfer list at the end of the 2001-02 season before his Field Mill contract was cancelled in October 2002. He eventually joined neighbours Chesterfield on a contract for the remainder of the campaign.
