The former England Youth international has made about 300 appearances for his various clubs. Following a change in management at Notts County in the 2000 close season Shaun seemed to fall out of favour and never really got an extended run in the team during the 2000-01 campaign. He eventually joined Kettering Town on loan to try and halt their slide towards relegation from the Conference and on returning to Meadow Lane he was released in the summer. A predominantly left-footed midfield playmaker he has the ability to turn the course of a match with his decisive passing.
