This long-serving Stockport County defender had a disappointing time in 2000-01 and never established himself as a first-team regular at Edgeley Park.
He subsequently joined Wolverhampton Wanderers linking up with his old boss Dave Jones in a loan deal shortly before the transfer deadline.
Used as cover when Kevin Muscat was absent through suspension and international commitments, he made a steady start and proved a calming influence on the Wanderers' defence.
An experienced right back, he was out of contract in the summer and took the opportunity to make his move to Molineux permanent.
Sean joined Rushden & Diamonds in July 2004 on a one-year contract.
