Over 300 appearances for his three clubs. Having signed a further 12-month contract for Wolves in the close season Scott featured regularly in the early games of 2000-01. However he then had the misfortune to suffer a ruptured knee cap playing against Tranmere in September and the injury kept him out of action for the remainder of the campaign. A lively midfield player he was released in the summer and had a brief spell at Cambridge United.
