Formerly on Leeds United's books as an associate schoolboy, Scott progressed from the Scunthorpe United juniors into the first-team squad in November 2000 while still doing his 'A'-Levels at college. He made a handful of appearances as a substitute. He is a skilful winger who can operate on either flank and has good pace and a directness about his play.
Scott joined Boston United on non-contract terms in October 2003.
