This skilful left winger joined Shrewsbury Town in July 2000 and was a near ever-present in 2000-01.
He is a very talented player capable of rounding opponents with ease, but still needs to develop greater composure when delivering his final ball.
He netted two goals during the campaign including a brilliant individual effort in the 2-2 draw at Lincoln City when he ran half the length of the pitch before finishing with a fine shot.
Sam was placed on the transfer list in January 2002.
He joined Northampton Town in July 2006 with a two-year contract.
Sam was made available for transfer by Wrexham in May 2008.
