Milton had the misfortune to suffer a pelvic injury in the 2000 pre-season and as a result he was unable to appear for Cheltenham until the end of November. He continued to be affected by niggling injuries although he featured regularly in the second half of the campaign, contributing a goal in the 4-2 victory over Halifax in April. A set-piece specialist he plays either in the centre or on the left side of midfield.
