This experienced midfielder returned to action shortly before Christmas following the broken leg he suffered back in February 2000 and immediately re-established himself as a key figure in the centre of the park for Bristol Rovers. He went on to feature regularly in the second half of the season, and also won his place back in the Trinidad & Tobago squad, earning another five caps during the campaign and registering his first goal at international level when he netted in the 3-1 win over Guatemala. Ronnie went on the Bristol Rovers transfer list in March 2002.
