After making his senior debut for Wycombe Wanderers at the end of the 1999-2000 campaign, Roger Johnson found it difficult to break into the first-team squad in 2000-01 and his only opportunity came from the subs' bench at Reading in March when he gave an assured performance.
A talented central defender, Roger's contract at Wycombe Wanderers was extended to June 2007 in December 2004.
His contract at Cardiff City was extended to June 2011 in July 2008.
Roger joined Birmingham City in July 2009 with a three-year contract.
He joined Wolverhampton Wanderers in July 2011 with a four-year contract before he was made available for transfer in June 2013.
Roger's contract at Wolves was cancelled in February 2015 when he joined Charlton Athletic with a contract to June 2015.
He re-joined Charlton Athletic in January 2016 with a contract to June 2017.
