Robbie Simpson played for Norwich City during his youth career.
He joined Huddersfield Town in June 2009 with a three-year contract.
After loan spells, Simpson joined Oldham Athletic in January 2012 with a contract to June 2012 that was then extended to June 2013.
He joined Leyton Orient in November 2013 with a two-month contract that was extended to June 2014 in January 2014.
Robbie joined Cambridge United in July 2014 with a two-year contract before he was made available for transfer in May 2015.
