An experienced attacking full back with over 250 club matches to his name. Robbie began the 2000-01 season for Bristol Rovers playing in the unfamiliar role of centre back. He endured something of a roller coaster time, being put on the transfer list in October and struggling to win a place during the middle part of the campaign before returning briefly towards the end of the season in his more accustomed position at right back. He is a tough-tackling defender with a powerful right foot.
