Taylor, who previously played for Redditch United, Solihull Moors and Evesham United, joined Port Vale in July 2008 with a two-year contract that was extended to June 2012 in January 2010 and to June 2014 in May 2012.
He joined Tranmere Rovers in January 2015 with a contract to June 2015.
