Although second-choice 'keeper to Andy Marshall at Norwich City in 2000-01, Rob Green stepped up to make a handful of appearances in the closing weeks of the season.
He has established an excellent reputation for himself with his sound handling of the ball and positive distribution.
He has a tremendous temperament and a real physical presence.
Rob signed a new three-year contract with Norwich City in June 2004.
He joined West Ham United in August 2006 with a four-year contract that was extended to June 2011 in August 2007.
After suffering a personal nightmare at the World Cup in South Africa when he was dropped after the opening game, he played all in the Championship in 2011-12 after being relegated with the Hammers.
However, Rob's outstanding qualities were recognised when he was selected as England's second-choice to Joe Hart at Euro 2012.
He joined Queens Park Rangers in July 2012 with a two-year contract that was extended to June 2016 in July 2014.
Rob joined Leeds United in July 2016 with a one-year contract.
He joined Huddersfield Town in August 2017 with a one-year contract.
Rob joined Chelsea in July 2018 with a one-year contract.
