Ricky Shakes played for Charlton Athletic during his youth career before moving to Bolton Wanderers.
He was made available for tansfer by Swindon Town in May 2007.
Ricky joined Brentford in August 2007 with a four-month contract.
He was eligible to play for Trinidad and Tobago through his mother's heritage, and Guyana through his father's birth.
