Rene Gilmartin, who joined Walsall from St Kevin's Boys Club, had his Saddlers contract extended to June 2009 in May 2008.
He joined Watford in July 2010 with a two-year contract.
Rene joined Plymouth Argyle in July 2012 in a two-year deal before he was made available for transfer in May 2013 prior to his contract being cancelled the following month.
He re-joined Watford in August 2014 with a one-year contract.
