Regan Poole was selected on Newport County's subs bench for the first time on 16 September 2014 in a League Two game at Tranmere Rovers.
He made his debut four days later in a League Two game at Shrewsbury Town at the age of 16 years and 94 days to become County's youngest-ever player.
The previous record-holder was Steve Aizlewood who was 16 years and 194 days when he played in a League Division Four game at Chesterfield on 21 April 1969.
