With Arsenal, 1st Division Champion 1934, 1935, FA Cup winner 1936. Ray Bowden was stylish forward who played a major part in the great Arsenal successes of the 1930s.
A star of the all-conquering Arsenal team of the thirties, the mild-mannered Cornishman made the long journey north late in his career to join a Newcastle outfit that was struggling in the Second Division.
