Full name is: Pierre Womé Nlend.
The young defender or midfielder has already enjoyed an action-packed career. Pierre made his international debut against Lesotho in 1996 as a 16 year-old, has played in the three African Nations finals (winning in 2000) and was in Cameroon's squad for the 1998 World Cup finals in France. He also played in all six games for his country in the 2000 Sydney Olympics – netting the decisive penalty in the Final's shoot-out against Spain to clinch the gold medal. A rugged left-sided player, he is another of the Indomitable Lions squad who started at Canone Yaounde before moving to Europe. In Pierre's case, it was Italy's Vicenza then, via Lucchese, he joined Roma. After only eight games, he was on the move again when he joined Bologna. His hard man image was enhanced when he was accused of assaulting two police officers in March 2001.
