A skilled inside-forward, Phil Chisnall had few chances at Manchester United and fared little better at Liverpool after transferring in April 1964.
At the time of his passing in March 2021, his move to Anfield remained the last direct transfer between the two clubs.
Phil also held the distiction of being the first-ever player to be seen to touch the ball on BBC TV's Match of the Day when making his Liverpool league debut against Arsenal in the programme's inaugural game.
