Peter Beadle

While never being assured of a permanent place in Bristol City's line-up in 200-01, Peter featured regularly in the first-team squad and was often used from the subs' bench, coming on to try and change the course of a game. He finally won over his critics, who had resented his previous affiliation with the blue side of Bristol, with a fine performance in the 'derby' match against Bristol Rovers when he made one goal and scored another with a diving header in City's 3-2 victory. A big strong target man who leads the line well, he also possesses deft control and considerable skill on the ball.
