Ware started the 2000-01 campaign as a regular in the Rochdale squad however he suffered a couple of injuries and was absent for a large chunk in the middle of the season before regaining his place towards the end of February.
A hard-working midfield player, Ware was released by Rochdale at the end of the 2001-02 season and returned to Hednesford.
He died at the age of 42 in April 2013.
