Miller started the 2000-2001 season on the left side of Lincoln City's midfield where his ability to hold the ball was put to good use. He injured a hamstring at the end of August and was out, on and off, for three months. Shortly after his return to fitness he suffered medial knee ligament damage that kept him out again until March. He only made one start under new manager Alan Buckley and was released in May.
