Having come up through the ranks at Millwall, Paul came on in leaps and bounds in the 2000-01 season.
He is a very fast, tricky winger who has the ability to turn defences inside out and can also deliver a telling cross.
As well as being an excellent provider, he is something of a goalscorer too, and one of the highlights of a great campaign was his hat-trick in the 5- 1 win at Cambridge United in April.
Paul signed a new two-year contract with the Lions in August 2003 before joining Sheffield United in May 2005 with a contract to June 2008.
Paul was made available for transfer by Sheffield United in December 2006.
He joined Crystal Palace in January 2007 with a contract to June 2009.
The Barbados international was made available for transfer by Crystal Palace in August 2008.
