Barrett appeared regularly for Wrexham in the early part of the 2000-01 campaign before losing his place last November and he only featured briefly after that. He is a hard-working midfield player who can play on either flank bringing aggression and enthusiasm to the Robins' team. His only goal last season came in the 4-0 win over Bangor in the FA Wales Premier Cup.
Barrett signed a new one-year deal with Wrexham in July 2003.
