Pat Howard
| Date of birth | 07 October 1947 |
| Place of birth | Dodworth |
| Nationality | English |
| Position | Central defender |
With Newcastle United, FA Cup runner-up 1974, League Cup runner-up 1976. A bargain buy from Barnsley, big Pat soon struck up a superb partnership with Bobby Moncur at the heart of the Newcastle defence. An uncompromising defender, he followed Malcolm MacDonald to Arsenal. Unfortunately, the big centre-back didn't enjoy the same impact.
