Medou-Otye joined Scottish Division One outfit Morton in the 2000 close season and featured regularly until moving south to join Kidderminster last November. Solidly built, he is a versatile player who can appear in defence or midfield. He initially broke into the Harriers' line-up at left back but he looked far more comfortable when replacing Ian Clarkson at right back for the closing games of the campaign. Medou-Otye's experience of English football came to an abrupt end in January 2002 when he was advised to retire due to a rare heart condition.
