A talented young defender he was called into the squad after the withdrawal of Reynaldo Parks. He plays his club football with LD Alajuelense with eight of the squad members. He has played in two World youth cups and was a captain of the under 23 team before breaking into the full side. He was blamed by the countries press for the qualifying defeat by Barbados but has the full confidence of the coach. An excellent central defender who is a danger in the air at set plays.
