Morrison had an excellent season for Sheffield Wednesday in 2000-01 when he established himself as a regular in the first-team squad from mid-September playing as a striker or wide on the left of midfield.
Quick, skilful and with an eye for goal, the Owls had high hopes that he will continue to make good progress in the coming season.
His performances won him a call-up for the Northern Ireland Under-21s and he made his debut as a substitute against Bulgaria in March.
Having fallen out of favour at Hillsborough, Morrison made the cross-city switch to Sheffield United in February 2003 with a contract until the end of the 2002-03 season. He subsequently joined Stockport County in a two-year deal.
Morrison joined Bradford City in December 2004 with a contract to June 2006.
