Nick Townsend was selected on Birmingham City's subs bench for the first time on 15 January 2013 in a FA Cup tie against Leeds United.
He signed his first pro contract with Blues in May 2013. It ran to June 2014.
His Blues contract was extended to June 2017 in May 2015.
After a loan spell, Nick joined Barnsley in September 2015 with a three-year contract.
