Having spent the 2000 season with San Francisco club Bay Area Seals, Niall joined Wycombe Wanderers for a trial period last October. Although he suffered from a number of niggling injuries he played in a handful of games and scored the winning goal in the LDV Vans Trophy tie at Exeter. He was eventually released at the end of February and after returning to Canada he signed for US-A League outfit Montreal Impact. He is a big striker with good close control and a useful scoring record in US football.
