Grayson suffered a broken ankle playing for Cheltenham Town against York City in only the second match of 2000-01 but recovered quickly to win his place back and finished the campaign as the Robins' leading scorer.
One of the highlights of his campaign was scoring a hat-trick in the 3-1 win over Cardiff City in April.
Although not the tallest of players, Grayson is strong on the ball and an effective target man.
Grayson left Cheltenham Town after helping to guide them to Division Two in 2001-02.
He joined Forest Green Rovers on a two-year contract.
