Began as a Luton Town trainee and had a spell as first choice keeper in the 1999-2000 season.
Nathan began the 2000-01 campaign as second choice 'keeper to newcomer Mark Ovendale at Luton.
He came back to enjoy two lengthy runs in the side and the pair effectively shared duties during the campaign.
A talented young goalkeeper, he produced some commanding performances and arguably the save of the season at Kenilworth Road in the game against Wrexham in October.
He was one of five players released by the Hatters in the 2001 close season and moved on to Chesterfield for the 2001-02 campaign.
His Saltergate stint ended in August 2002 when he joined Northampton Town on a three-month contract that was later extended until the end of the season.
Nathan returned to Luton Town in October 2003 on non-contract terms which was quickly followed by another brief stint at Macclesfield Town before agreeing a one-month deals at Ipswich Town and Burnley.
He joined Boston United in July 2004 with a two-year contract that was cancelled in January 2006.
Nathan then joined Bristol City with a contract to the end of the season.
His contract at Brentford was extended to June 2007 in January 2007.
Nathan joined Milton Keynes Dons in August 2007 with a one-year contract that was extended to June 2009 in May 2008.
