Bischoff became one of the growing number of Danish players at Manchester City when he signed for them in the summer of 2002.
He had developed at AB Copenhagen and has played for the Denmark Under-20 team and was attracting the attention of several other Premiership clubs before City swooped.
Bischoff joined Coventry City in July 2006 with a two-year contract.
