He has made 429 first team appearances. Mickey had a stop-start season at Shrewsbury in 2000-01 and although he featured regularly in the squad he was often on the subs bench. A versatile player who is essentially a wide right midfield player he can also play up front or at full back. Wherever he featured Mickey always gave 100% and looked capable creating danger with his speed. Forever a hero at Gay Meadow following the goal he scored at Exeter in May 2000 to secure Football League status, he created a new club record of league appearances when he overtook Colin Griffin's tally of 406 before being released at the end of the campaign.
