NationalityEnglish
Weight78 kg
Height1.88 m
PositionDefender/Centre back

Heathcote fought back from injury to win a new one-year contract for Plymouth at the start of last season. Unfortunately he suffered a further injury during the pre-season and it was not until October that he appeared in the first team. He bolstered the centre of Argyle's defence on his return but was again sidelined in December and failed to make a recovery before the end of the campaign. His commanding influence over the Pilgrims' team was sorely missed and it is hoped that he is able to return for the start of the 2001-02 season. This popular figure at Home Park has been with a testimonial match due to take place against Sunderland at the end of July.

Heathcote retired from senior football due to a back injury in January 2003.
