A former trainee and captain of Sheffield United's youth team, Michael Tonge's contract with the Blades was extended to June 2007 in October 2003.
He joined Stoke City in September 2008 with a four-year contract.
After a loan spell, Michael joined Leeds United in January 2013 with a contract to June 2015.
His contract at Stevenage was extended to June 2017 in January 2016.
He joined Port Vale in August 2017 with a one-year contract that was extended to June 2019 in May 2018.
