This promising local-born youngster made his debut for Huddersfield Town when he replaced Kevin Gray for the closing minutes against Crewe in the autumn. He subsequently made a further three appearances as a substitute before dropping back to continue his footballing education in the Terriers' reserves. Michael is a determined character, never afraid to get stuck in to the midfield action and with a keen eye for goal.
Michael was released by Huddersfield Town in August 2002.
