Michael Brown had an excellent season with Sheffield United in 2000-01, playing a key role in the centre of the park.
A hard-working left-sided midfield player with the ability to win the ball, he was able to create many openings for others with his perceptive passing.
Absent for only a handful of occasions until March, he then injured ankle ligaments in training causing him to miss the remainder of the season.
Michael joined Fulham in January 2006 with a contract to June 2009.
He joined Leeds United in July 2011 with a one-year contract that was extended to June 2013 in August 2012.
Michael joined Port Vale in July 2014 with a one-year contract.
