Boulding was again mainly used as a substitute by Mansfield Town in 2000-01, much to the frustration of the club's supporters.
A left-sided striker with electric pace, he is capable of causing all kind of problems for defenders.
This was best demonstrated in the home game with Hartlepool United in September when he came off the subs' bench for the last ten minutes and helped turn a 3-1 deficit into a 4-3 victory.
Boulding - a former professional tennis player who opted for a career in football relatively late - joined Barnsley in February 2004 with a contract to June 2005.
He announced his retirement from senior football in August 2005 but returned at Rotherham United before the end of the 2005-06 season.
Boulding joined Bradford City in July 2008 with a two-year contract that was cancelled in March 2010.
He joined Derby County in February 2011 on non-contract terms.
