Max Dowman was selected on Arsenal's subs bench for the first time on 23 August 2025 in a Premier League game against Leeds United.
Aged 15 years and 302 days, he became the youngest-ever player to start a game in all competitions for the Gunners in a League Cup tie against Brighton and Hove Albion on 29 October 2025.
Aged 15 years and 308 days, Max became the youngest-ever player to appear in the UEFA Champions League in a League phase game against Slavia Praha on 4 November 2025: previously Youssoufa Moukoko of Borussia Dortmund versus Zenit St Petersburg on 8 December 2020 (16 years and 18 days).
Aged 16 years and 73 days, in a 2-0 win against Everton at the Emirates Stadium on 14 March 2026, he became the youngest-ever player to score in a game in the Premier League: previously James Vaughan for Everton against Crystal Palace on 10 April 2005 (16 years and 270 days). It also meant he had become Arsenal's youngest-ever goalscorer: previously Cesc Fabregas in a League Cup tie against Wolverhampton Wanderers on 2 December 2003 (16 years and 212 days).
Aged 16 years and 144 days, at Crystal Palace on 24 May 2026, Max became the youngest-ever player to start a game in the Premier League: previously Jose Baxter of Everton against West Bromwich Albion on 23 August 2008 (16 years and 198 days).
