Taricco had a frustrating time at Tottenham Hotspur in 2000-01 and after featuring in a handful of games early on he was sidelined by an injury in September and later required a hernia operation.
He remained out of action until May when he returned for the reserves in a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Arsenal.
An agile wing back who has great pace and the ability to deliver well-timed passes into the heart of the action.
