Heath signed a new two-year contract at Leicester City in May 2004 before joining Coventry City in July 2005 in a two-year deal.
After a loan spell, he joined Leeds United in January 2007 with a contract to the end of the season that was extended to June 2009 in August 2007.
Heath's contract at Colchester United was extended to June 2012 in May 2011.
He originally joined Northampton Town in August 2013 on non-contract terms before agreeing a deal to January 2014.
