Matt Duke was on non-contract terms at Chesterfield in January 1995 before joining Matlock Town at the end of the 1994-95 season.
He joined Hull City in July 2004 with a two-year contract that was extended to June 2008 in April 2006, then to June 2010 in September 2007 and to June 2011 in February 2009.
Matt joined Bradford City in August 2011 with a two-year contract.
He joined Northampton Town in July 2013 with a two-year contract.
Matt returned to Chesterfield in July 2016 as goalkeeping coach.
As confirmed by Hull City AFC, his date of birth is 16 June 1977 (not 16 July 1977, as per some publications).
