Bound was again a regular in the Swansea City defence in 2000-01 and was a near ever-present apart from suspension and a brief period in the new year when he was dropped. A big strong left-sided central defender his talents won him a place on the standby list for Wales for their World Cup qualifying ties although he has yet to make his international debut.
