Marvin Brown had been a star-in-waiting for at Bristol City, but still had to follow his elder brother Aaron and cement a regular first-team place.
He continued to make steady progress in the 2000-01 campaign but his first-team appearances were limited to outings from the subs' bench.
As a very promising young striker, he needed to gain more senior experience to begin to fulfil his obvious promise.
Marvin made two appearances for England Under-17s during the 2000-01 season.
He joined Yeovil Town in March 2005 on a monthly contract.
