Place of birthKirby Muxloe
NationalityEnglish
Weight70 kg
Height1.73 m
PositionDefender/Right back

This experienced full-back appeared regularly for Southend United in the 2000-01 campaign, doing well in a back four that was considerably more water-tight than in recent seasons.

Although not really suited to the forward-running style favoured by new manager David Webb, Martyn's strong tackling and defensive astuteness meant he never let the Blues down.

Martyn joined Huddersfield Town in July 2003 on a one-year contract.
